Dance Classes and Private Workshops
 At three of L.A.’s top dance studios: The Edge, Debbie Reynolds and Millenium, with the industry’s top choreographers and instructors in the classes and levels of your choice. Classes you can choose from include Jazz, Contemporary Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Partnering, Progressions, Turns, Jazz Funk, Modern Fusion, Modern Jazz Funk, Alternative Funk, Afro Fusion, Burlesque Jazz, Krumping, Hip Hop, Designer Hip Hop and House. Levels include Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Open as well as Levels 1, 2, 3 and 4

- Full day private intensive with the industry’s hottest choreographers including ‘So You Can Dance’ choreographers. Work privately with Nancy Paradis, Robert Schultz, Melissa Mendoza, Greg Poland, Duece, Michael Schwandt and other top choreographers and instructors. Their combined credits include Broadway, Robbie Williams, MTV and Billboard Music Awards, Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani and Maroon 5 to name just a few
- Private workshops include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical and more. The workshops will be customized to suit dancers needs
- Be empowered at the Career Power Workshop led by Tony award winner Grover Dale, the man to meet and work with if you are interested in dancing professionally. If you are not interested in a professional dance career, this workshop is still for you. In addition to working with Grover, dancers will work with top choreographers and dancers. Faculty TBA. Past industry professionals have included Mickey Minden, choreographer for the Pussy Cat Dolls and associate director Jesse Lee Santos; Dance Life's director and creator Kevin Tancheroen, lead actors and dancers Nolan Padilla and Nick Baga. Professional dancers Aisha Francis (Beyonce, Destiny's Child), Kevin Stea (Madonna's world tour) and Tonya Kay (Panic at the Disco)
- Learn essential techniques in correcting alignment, strengthening joints and muscles and achieving your fitness goals. There will be personal training, pilates and other related regimens by Thalia Caruana-Thomas of SOMA who is an internationally known fitness expert who has taught Pilates and dance to her clients in her native Australia, Greece, Canada and the United States. Thalia trains the cast of the LA musical Wicked. The goal is for each S.I.L.A. dancer to achieve a healthy blend of strength, flexibility, balance and control. Thalia is certified in the official Method designed by Joseph Pilates himself, and is an expert in the East Coast style of Pilates exercise. This extraordinary level of expertise allows her to design an exercise plan that will enhance your physical well-being and avoid the potential of injury
Leading Industry Guests and Professionals
- Network with industry decision makers, choreographers & back up dancers
- Have intimate and interactive experiences at all private workshops with industry chats, Q & A’s, autograph signing sessions and photo taking opportunities
- Meet top US immigration lawyer who specializes in helping dancers obtain their US work status. Be Discovered referred Tre Armstrong for her Missy Elliott tour, Jae Blaze who choreographed Dream Girls and Janet Castillo (Jennifer Lopez tour).
 Tre and Jae were signed by Bloc and Janet by Clear Talent, as a result of this connection
- Optional photo shoot with Lee Cherry, photographer to the Pussy Cat Dolls, choreographer Brian Friedman and actress Jenna Dewan (Step Up, Take The Lead). Lee has invited Carmit Bachar of the Pussy Cat Dolls and other guests to stop by to the shoot for a meet and greet, industry chat and photo taking opportunities with the dancers.
Auditions and Shows
- Showcase for top dance and choreography agents from Bloc, MSA, DDO and Clear Talent at the Career Power Workshop
- Attend auditions and/or work on a live set if you fit the type being cast
- Be part of the live studio audience of the #1 hit dance show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’
Sightseeing and Fun
- Travel to Los Angeles, the entertainment capitol of the world

- Shared accommodations at the Hilton Universal Studios Hollywood hotel
located on six hillside acres with views of Universal Studios, Citywalk and
the Hollywood Hills. The Hilton offers tram service to Universal Studios,
which is adjacent to the hotel. Warner Brothers, NBC and Disney studios lie
within a two mile radius of this property. Families will have a chance to
enjoy the magnificent pools, fitness center and more. (see photos)
- All meals, snacks and beverages are also included. Meals are customized by a nutritionist and prepared daily by a private in-house chef who has over ten years experience catering to movie shoots and the entertainment industry.
