Past Summer in LA dancers have shown potential but the professionals they worked with felt that they were missing something. Their feedback was that the dancers hair should have been better, make up needed to be current, wardrobe choices were not flattering and even shoes were critiqued. Both male and female dancers were told to find "their image" and make it work for them.

• Katina Lekerr is a fashion stylist, style coach, costume designer, speaker, writer and personal shopping advisor to the stars with 20 years experience in film, television and stage productions. Katina has worked with top performers in Hollywood and the films she has worked on have been some of the largest grossing films of all time.
  
  Actors, directors, and producers have trusted Katina’s artistic eye and warm heart, enlisting her to design many popular films and television shows including Dawson's Creek, Spiderman 3, Men In Black II, The Nanny and Kids Incorporated, to just name a few. Her private clients can be found around the world, and her style workshops draw men and women of all ages and professions.
  
  Acknowledging one's individual beauty inspires self confidence making it easier to take style chances. Katina does this by showing her clients how to view their bodies in a whole new light, encouraging self-acceptance. She's uplifting, funny, and cares about how people feel when they look in the mirror. Her wellness focus to image is at the core of her approach.
  
  Katina loves to share, and she’s sharing her secrets with businesses, women’s groups, teens and dancers. Groups and corporations are looking a lot better after she shares her expert fashion and heart-based style advice. She is the founder of ProStyleAdvice.com and is a member of AICI (Association of Image Consultants International) and the Costume Designer’s Guild of Los Angeles. She is certified through The London Image Institute and The Body Beautiful Institute where she trains future stylists.
  
  Katina currently lives in Los Angeles and also writes and gives workshops and speaking engagements on fashion. Katina devotes her pro bono time to Dress 4Success, a charity that provides business attire for low-income clients.
  

• Mikal Sky is one of the most sought after and celebrated make up artists in the entertainment industry. She is a celebrity make up artist and hair consultant and stylist. To all that know her, the name Mikal Sky is synonymous with innovation and signature style.
  
  A true visionary of fashion, Mikal combined this flair for fashion with her professionalism for a career in aesthetics. Seeking a greater challenge, Mikal moved to Los Angeles in 1999 where she immediately found work as a make up artist in film, television and print. Since then she has enjoyed increasing success, working with celebrities and industry leaders.
  Mikal’s Make up and hair stylist credits include Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Make Over Story, E!, Disney, Foo Fighters, Inside Edition, Big Brother, David LaChapelle, CBS, Simmons Family Jewels, Paul Rudd, Vin Diesel, Joan Jett and many more.

• Do the clothes in your closet match the life you lead? If not, it’s no wonder you may feel like you have nothing to wear. Discuss and review your current wardrobe and whether it’s supporting the activities and goals of your life. You will also discover the treasures in your own closet. • As Katina won’t be able to see your actual closet, hangers and clothing racks will be available to display all your clothes to assimilate your closet. You will learn how to let go of pieces that don’t serve or flatter you anymore. You will also learn how to make amazing new outfits in ways you had not thought possible. • The shopping trip with your personal shopper is at the Beverly Center located at the edge of Beverly Hills and Hollywood (as seen on 90210). No matter what your budget is, this will be a fun yet educational shopping experience. Major department stores including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s Men Store are on site as well as some Summer in L.A. dancers favourites like Ed Hardy, Forever XXI, Guess and H & M. Hollywood stylists often use Beverly Center as a "second closet" when designing the wardrobe for film, television and music videos.
• As we are attending as a group, you will also receive a savings brochure which includes discounts and added values to many of the Center’s specialty stores. In addition, you will receive a signature Beverly Center tote by returning to the Guest Services Desk and showing the same day Beverly Center store receipt. • Celebrity Sightings and Shopping with the stars is the norm at the Beverly Center! Clothing from Beverly Center stores can frequently be spotted on the television and film personalities who frequent the Center, including Madonna, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Selma Hayek, Christina Aguilera, Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez. You never know who you might find shopping right next to you. • The female dancers will have a Bra fitting workshop at one of the Beverly Center’s lingerie shops. As seen on Oprah, a bra fitting will change your life and will make your outfits be winning outfits.
• After the shopping trip, you will learn how to integrate your new pieces into the rest of your closet. Lots of outfits are discovered at this point without spending more money. Review what you have learned during the make over experience and now put it to action.

Skybox "Star" Trailer

• The Skybox Mobile Make-Up innovative service packs up Hollywood glamour and style and delivers a fully-equipped mobile hair and makeup studio. The 28 foot custom remodelled eco friendly vintage "Star" trailer has up to three make up and hair stations as well as a fridge and lounge and a great sound system. Hair and make up will be done in the trailer including the make up lessons.
• Skybox Mobile Makeup is a Rockin' party on wheels (with Smokey eyes) and its mission is to help make the Image Is Everything! The Hollywood Make Over dancers look and feel beautiful, while having a great time.
• Get styled in a “Star” trailer just like working dancers and stars in Hollywood do. The Skybox will be coming to us and will be parked with other production trailers at Universal Studios Hollywood. The Skybox has recently been featured on E!'s Candy Girls and is run and operated by our own make up and hair stylist Mikal Sky.

Hair, Make Up & Skin Care

• Be Discovered and Sky Box Make Up encourages everyone to use only non toxic, chemical free make up, beauty and hair care products. We support this initiative by making safe, amazing professional quality non toxic make up available to you in Skybox.
• Your fashion consultant Katina will meet with you and your make up and hair stylist Mikal Sky to discuss your personality, colors, style, shape and more to come up with a hair style that works for you. You will get a hair cut and style with your approval to reflect the NEW YOU that has been unleashed during the Image is Everything! The Hollywood Make Over experience. Optional color services are available in the Skybox for you.
• Make Up is a big part of completing a look whether for an audition, a photo shoot or a TV show taping. Mikal Sky will apply your professional make up and teach you how to do it yourself during the make up class.
• Learn about what to look for when buying skin and hair care products and make up. You will be shocked when you discover the poisons that are in everyday products that you may be using as no one in the US is regulating this. Take responsibility for yourself and know what to use and what not to use. It is important to want to look your best but you want to be able to do this in a way that does not harm you and your environment. Check the toxicity of the products you use as you want them to not only be safe but be good for your skin. As consumers, it is important to look out for socially irresponsible companies.
  
• A custom make up kit with natural, non toxic "Parenzano" make up includes cheek color, mascara, eyeliner, 2 eyeshadows, 2 lip colors and a small brush kit. You can select the colors in advance to be used at the program or let Mikal's professional advice help you select what you need during your make over. Learn what to look for when selecting a foundation and other products you may want.
• Mikal Sky has done a lot of research on making her own skin care products and will share with you easy and inexpensive recipes and advice so that you can make your own at home that will make your skin look amazing. They will offer longevity and supple skin for life with the theory that you shouldn't put anything on your skin that you wouldn't eat, since it goes directly into your blood stream.
• Learn to do your own nails with a non toxic polish and also learn about a soy based polish remover. Purchase polish to take home in an assortment of colors that will be available in the Skybox.
